Thanks a ton

Every year for stamp camp I always try to make my customers feel speacial by throwing in some extra "swag" in their bags.  As part of this I always make a reusable thank you card, sort of a bonus card, that I don't write in (I write on a post-it that I stick inside), thanking them for coming and suppoorting me.  In honor of Stampin' Up! sale-a-bration I made cards using as much sale-a-bration product as I could to show how great all the free product is.  Here are a few of the "thanks a ton" cards I put together.  I hope my customer like them ;)

she believed

I made this card for this weeks Dynamic Duos color challenge, island indigo and pool party.  I used a ton of new products from the Stampin' Up! spring catalog and sale-a- bration catalog including the Hearts a flutter stamp set, and the sycamore street dsp with coordinating ribbon and button.  I think this is going to double as my sisters birthday card too.

Oh Whale

I made this card this morning as the girls we eating breakfast...yes it was that fast.  I cased the card from Pinterest for this weeks Black Tie Friday's blog challenge, animals.  I though it went perfect and I have been wanting to use this stamp set and clearlit since I borrowed it from my stampin friend Charlette. Happy monday all!!!

Recovery bag

I saw this on Pinterest and just had to recreate it. It takes literally 5 minutes, uses minimal supplies, and could be given to almost anyone this time of year ( with all the cold/flu/nastiness going around) I used the new Stampin' Up! Patterned occasions stamp set from the sale-a-bration catalog, love!

spingtime

Here is a card I cased from a card I saw on Pinterest.  I love the color combo and it gave me a chance to use some of the new products from the Stampin' Up! spring catalog.  The little bee is from the Collage Curious sramp set, which is totally not my style but I really love it.

Floral District pin

Here is a cute little pin I made to wear as part of my "flair" for the upcoming stamp camp.  I always make a point to wear a lot of the product we sell so that our customers can get a glimspe of the product in non-tradition ways.  So much of what Stampin' Up! sells can be used for all sorts of great crafts, not just paper based.  I made this pin using the Floral Dirstrict designer fabric and the new builder brads.  The entire flower takes only a matter of minutes (with the help of a glue gun!).  I attached a simple pin the the back and now I can wear it as a broach, stick it on a purse or hat, you name it.

Happy Valentine's Day!

I made this card for my husband for valentine's day. I was searching for what seemed like forever for some inspiration. It's so hard to find good masculine cards. When I saw this one on Pinterest I liked it immediately. My husband is very outdoorsy and he does a lot of woodworking, so this card was particularly fitting. It was also pretty quick and easy to put together.

Whole Latte Love

I saw this card on Pinterest and I have been wanting to recreate it.  I just got this stamp set, Stampin' Up! Patterened Occassions from the Sale-a-bration catalog, and I'm really starting to love it.  The images are crisp and cute and the wording is fun.  More cards with this stamp set to come ;)

Dainty

This card I made for this weeks Dynamic Dous color challange blog.  I loved the color combo when I saw it, so girly and dainty.  Although I usually go for bold colors, I thought I would give this pretty combo a try.  I got my layout inspiration from a card I saw on PinterestP.S. I am having so much fun working with all the new product from the Stampin' Up! spring and Sale-a bration catalogs!

Paper Bow

Here is another sample I did for our upcoming stamp camp.  I like to have a few 3D projects to show the versitility of Stampin' Up!  I found a tutorial on paper bows on pinterest and had to try it out.  I had this great box and thought the bow would be a great easy way to dress it up.  The bow was super easy and quick and you can you any paper you want, love it!

Pink leopard

Here is my first attempt at leopard print nails. I saw an easy tutorial on Pinterest and thought I would try it. Those things are sometimes a hit or miss but this one seemed to work. I first painted my nails pink ( Essie muchi muchi). Then you take a tooth pick and flatten the pointy end. I dabbed some black polish and rose gold polish on a hand mirror. Then dipped the tooth pick in the black and then on my nail to make not-so-round dots. Then you dab another flattened toothpick in the rose gold color and go around the black loosely. It doesn't have to be perfect, after all it's supposed to be leopard print. I like how it turned out soft and bold!

So many hexagons

So I have been seeing these cards all over different crafters blogs with this adorable hexagon embossing folder from Stampin' Up!.  You are supoosed to emboss a piece of cardstock and then ebmoss a piece of DSP, then you cut the hexagons out of the DSP and adhere inside the hexagons on the cardstock.  Seems simple enough...well it is I'm not an idiot!  However, its also extremly time consuming and down right boring after the fourth or fifth hexagon you have to cut out.  Let's just say I won't be making many of these cards soon.

Above & Beyond

Here is a card I made as a sample for our upcoming stamp camp next month.  I got the inspiration from Pinterest (can we just assume I get all my creative juice from there!)  Iv'e been wanting to try my hand at making my own clouds for the background of a card and this one seemed like the perfect match.  I punched out a scallop circle, laid it on white paper and took and inked up sponge and rubbed the edge, then you move the scallop and repeat, pretty simple.  I think it turned out cute, although I'm not ultra impressed with the lines I drew for the hot air balloon.  Im suffering from this aweful cough which didn't mix well for trying to make straight lines ;)

Owl be your Valentine!

Here is another Pinterest find that I decided to turn into a cute valentine for my daughter's teachers at preschool.  This cute little owl is doing double duty today though.  I am also using it for this weeks ColourQ blog challenge.  I really liked this color combo and obviously thought Valentines day when I saw it.  (the lighting in my office isn't great, but yes the top note is raspberry ripple...I know it looks more red in the pic)  The owl is made with the Stampin' Up! top note die, the 1", 3/4", and 1/2" circles.  I hand cut the nose.  Next you fill a celo bag with some treats, staple the top and attach the owl face, so cute!

Easter Blessings

Here is another sample I made for display for the Stamp Camp.  We always make sure to have lots of sample cards out for all our customers to look at and get ideas.  This card is using the new Stampin' Up! Easter Blessing a la cart stamp that I heat embossed on midnight muse cardstock with the new pool party embossing powder.  I also used the new Ovals framelits, Sycamore Street DSP, ribbon, and buttons, and the Vine Street embossing folder.  This one is loaded down with new stuff ;)

I love playing with new product

This card was made as a sample for our upcoming Stamp camp.  It didn't get picked (there was still competition :)) but I do love the way it turned out.  I used the new Stampin' Up! honeycomb embossing folder and print poetry dsp, both of which I LOVE.  This card makes a great masculine birthday card, which I can always use.  Happy Saturday!
