You can do it!

I haven't had a food post in while, nor have I had an update on my fitness goals.  Well I am pleased to say that I have reached my personal goal I set for myself over a year ago.  I have lost 84 pounds and I feel amazing!  I am actually smaller than I was when I got married (and almost the size I was when I met my husband back in 2006)  It's been a long road but toally worth it.  So what's next you say...well I've set a new set of goals for myself and will be working toward completing Tough Mudder in September with my hubby!!! It's insane I know but I figure if I can do that I can do ANYTHING!

Here is a pic of one of my super yummy, power packed breakfasts.  It's oatmeal cooked in almond milk, topped with apples and walnuts, drizzled with a little maple syrup...totally yum!

Angry Birds

Here are a couple of cards I did for my friend Alyssa'a two little boys.  I just love those little guys! They love angry birds, so I attempted to to recreate some for them.  I got the idea from Pinterest (of course) and the birds are a combo of punches and hand cut pieces.  I like the way they turned out, I hope they liked them too!

Thanks so much

I'm back! No more screwing around for me.  I'm getting back to crafting and posting on a daily basis...no more excses! Here is a card I did for this weeks Black Tie Friday's blog challange.  The challenge was to not use any paterned paper and make sure you incorporate black.  I just love the Stampin' Up! Pleasant Poppies stamp set and I really don't use it enough.  I got the inspiration for this card from two different cards I saw on pinterest.  I love using black too, it's so crisp and really makes the other colors stand out.  Happy Tuesday all!

Still MIA ;)

Here is a card that I made for our Craft-somniac team building night.  A bunch of us ladies got together to craft and gab and get some card inspiration to start off the new year.  The event was shoe box style and this is the card I brought.  It uses new paper, ribbon, and stamp set from Stampin' Up's spring and sale-a-bration catalog.  The paper is from the Print Poetry pack, the ribbon is the new two tone ribbon in pink pirouette/rose red, and the stamp set is That's the Ticket.
